The Characters

Here are some rough sketches of the main character and his alter egos. I wrote 3 mini stories for each occupation James (the young student and main character) will alter during his boredom of this year's Career Day. From going left to right we have, James the main character who will be the creator of his imaginary worlds. The Firefighter who instead of fighting fires, he fights fire demons. The Police Officer who in turn is a Zombie Patrolman, keeping the streets safe from the undead. The Shop Keep... I got nothing for him. These were still early stages of the story process so this wasn't the final 3 mini stories within James' head. I was also considering EMT and Doctor but it wasn't seeming to fit all into 4 minutes.

The New production will only have 1 story arch of which will be the fireman. This leaves room for me to focus all my time and energy into putting so much into this very short tale. So as of now, James the child and his alter ego the Firefighter will be the only main characters to care about. If I can produce his story arch to an almost complete finish well before the due dates, I'll also add the story arch of the Zombie Patrolman.

The script itself is about 3-4 pages per character and estimated to be around 1 & 1/2 - 2 minutes in length which is perfect for considering either doing just one or two story arches. With the Firefighter being the main story, I'll be refining his tale to reflect the goals of the over all plot which is the creativity and imagination of James the boy.
